tbc Preteens

Answering the question "who am I" by knowing "Who He is".

Preteens (5th & 6th graders) need a ministry especially designed for them. The reason for this is clear to anyone who has tried to place a 5th or 6th grader into kids or student ministries. Plain and simple, preteens are at an age all their own. They think differently, act differently, relate differently, and learn differently. They are ready for more than kids ministry, but not quite ready for student ministry.

Trinity Preteens is where 5th & 6th graders have their own place. Working together with both our kids and student ministries, Trinity Preteens is especially designed for 5th & 6th graders to belong, have fun, and grow in their faith.

5th & 6th graders meet in gender-based small groups as they explore the Bible, learn the Truth about God and about themselves, learn more of their own identities in Christ, and learn how to apply the Truth of Scripture in their daily lives.

5th & 6th graders gather for a large group time together. Preteen Wednesday Nights feature Bible teaching, discussion, music, food, and activities.
Wednesday Night activities stay varied and relevant while always sharing the Truth of the Gospel.

We work hard to provide a loving, fun, and safe environment for children of all ages. The safety and security of children is extremely important to us. This means that we utilize check-ins, security, volunteer background checks, and volunteer training so that our kids are appropriately cared for and safe.

Throughout the year, 5th & 6th graders have opportunities to love and serve others by engaging in church ministries such as Power Packs for Kids, Food Pantry, and homebound care.

Throughout the year, there are a number of special events for preteens, including Vacation Bible School, Connect Camp, service projects, and seasonal activities.

Meet Jordan

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

Jordan has been pointing kids to Jesus through preteen ministry at TBC for about 2 years. She and her husband Justin have been apart of the TBC family for 8 years. Jordan's heart for the TBC preteen ministry is that kids would feel loved and accepted while growing in their relationship with God. She would love to get to know you and your family!

We'd love to get to know you!
