Ep. 20 - THE RECAP EPISODE

Jamin Grubbs, John Michael Burrow, Nathan Dodd

We've made it to Episode 20 of Ordinary Faith!

This week, we're looking back at some of the biggest lessons we've learned through our journey in the Gospel of Mark. From the authority and miracles of Jesus to His compassion for ordinary people, one truth continues to stand out: Jesus doesn't just want to change our circumstances—He wants to change our hearts.

As we revisit Mark 7, we talk about the desperation of those who came to Jesus for healing and ask an important question: Have we become too comfortable to recognize how desperately we need Him?

In a world full of distractions, busy schedules, and competing priorities, it's easy to put our spiritual lives on the back burner. But following Jesus isn't about checking religious boxes or waiting for a life-changing moment. It's about recognizing our need for Him and walking in faithful obedience every day.

Plus, we hear highlights from our student fall retreat, talk about the challenges of technology and distractions, and celebrate 20 episodes of conversations about living out our faith.

Scripture Focus: Mark 7:24–37
